Job Openings Data Analyst (Python/Spark/SQL) - Hybrid Lisboa (1 day/week office)

About the job Data Analyst (Python/Spark/SQL) - Hybrid Lisboa (1 day/week office)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a revolutionary IoT pioneer backed by industry giants including SoftBank, Amazon, Alibaba, Verizon, Qualcomm, and PepsiCo. Founded by the team behind core 5G technology, this company has developed groundbreaking IoT stickers that harvest radio frequency energy to bring connectivity and intelligence to everyday products and packaging. You'll be working with some of the world's largest consumer, retail, food, and pharmaceutical companies as they transform how products are made, distributed, sold, used, and recycled. This is a rare opportunity to be part of commercializing "Sensing as a Service" and enabling "Intelligence for Everyday Things" — with exceptional flexibility (only 1 day/week in Lisboa office) and competitive compensation up to €45,000 annually.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

This role uniquely blends tactical data exploration with solution building — you'll sift through massive amounts of IoT data to discover breakthrough insights that connect cutting-edge technology with customer pain points. You'll participate directly in customer meetings, listening carefully for business problems, then hunting through deployment data to uncover those "Aha!" moments. Once insights are identified, you'll develop visualization interfaces both internally and within customer systems, turning real-time data streams into actionable intelligence. Collaboration is central — you'll work closely with internal product teams, customer stakeholders, and engineers across multiple disciplines (algorithm, software, hardware) to transform discoveries into integrated solutions. Creativity, curiosity, and resilience are essential as you often won't know what you're looking for until you've found it.
