DevOps Engineer (Azure / AI) – Hybrid Porto Portugal (2–3 days/week office)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure to join a strategic cloud transformation initiative within a leading international organization in the financial services sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-impact tenant migration, leveraging automation and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and accelerate delivery. You will be part of a modern engineering environment focused on scalability, security, and innovation.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

The main objective of this role is to support the migration of an Azure tenant, ensuring a seamless transition of resources, identities, and services across environments. This includes working with infrastructure, security configurations, and CI/CD pipelines while maintaining business continuity. AI-powered tools will be leveraged to assist with migration planning, automation, validation, and optimization. The environment is complex and requires close collaboration with infrastructure, security, and application teams.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Azure tenant or subscription migrations
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, or similar)
• Familiarity with identity and access management in Azure environments
• Experience or exposure to AI-assisted tools for automation or cloud operations
• Scripting skills
• Fluency in Portuguse (mandatory)

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of cloud security best practices
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments
• Englishlanguage skills
