Route Sales Representative - Japanese Bilingual

MondayThursday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM

Compensation:
$25-$28/hr during probation period
$60,000-$70,000 annual salary after probation (based on experience)

*The initial training will take place for one to one and a half months at our headquarters in Irwindale, CA (Accommodation subsidy available)

Position Overview

We are a growing importer and distributor of Japanese cosmetics and lifestyle products. As a Route Sales Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, mainly Japanese and Asian grocery and variety stores.

You'll provide on-site support such as stocking, shelf organization, and introducing new products, ensuring that our brand presence is strong and consistent. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys physical work, and values clear, professional communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Regular store visits and shelf management (stocking, organizing, displaying)
• Verifying labels and price tags, ensuring compliance and visibility
• Introducing and promoting new products to stores
• Placing orders and handling shipment coordination
• Communicating with store managers and staff (English communication required)
• Internal communication with the operations team
• Data entry and preparation of sales support materials

Requirements

• Business-level fluency in both English and Japanese
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs
• Valid driver's license (It's a plus if you enjoy driving!)
• Willingness to travel and participate in an in-office training program at our Irwindale headquarters
• Comfortable with physical tasks and communicating with clients in person

Work Location

Based in Manhattan, NY, covering areas including New Jersey and other states.

Compensation & Schedule

• $25-$28/hour during the probationary period
• $60,000-$70,000/year after probation (depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday schedule (Friday starts at 10:00 AM)
• Occasional travel required
