Personal Lines Account Manager (Japanese Bilingual)
Primary Objective: The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and servicing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met, and providing excellent customer service. The Account Manager collaborates with internal teams, insurance carriers, and clients to optimize coverage and
address any policy‐related inquiries or concerns.

Hybrid 2 x a week in office
Qualifications:
Professional-level proficiency in Japanese
Professional-level proficiency in English College degree and/or 3+ years of direct insurance industry work experience preferred.
Insurance industry certifications (e.g., CISR, CIC) may be advantageous.
Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail‐oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficient in using insurance agency management systems and other relevant software.
Proficient in using Microsoft office programs such as outlook, word, excel and power point.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
‐ Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs.
‐ Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, and providing guidance on
insurance products and coverage.
Policy Administration:
‐ Process new policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and in a timely
manner.
‐ Ensure policy documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory
requirements.
Coverage Analysis:
‐ Review and analyze clients' insurance needs to recommend appropriate coverage options.
‐ Collaborate with underwriters to secure the best coverage and pricing for clients.
Claims Assistance:
‐ Assist clients with the claims process, providing guidance and facilitating communication
between clients and claims adjusters.
‐ Monitor and follow up on claims to ensure timely resolution.
Risk Management:
‐ Identify potential risks and provide risk management advice to clients.
‐ Conduct periodic reviews of clients' insurance portfolios to ensure coverage remains
adequate and up to date.
Market Research:
‐ Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions affecting personal
lines insurance.
‐ Evaluate and recommend new insurance products to better meet client needs.
Cross‐Selling and Upselling:
‐ Identify opportunities for cross‐selling and upselling additional insurance products to existing
clients.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
‐ Maintain accurate and organized client records in the agency management system.
‐ Generate reports and documentation for internal and external purposes.
Required Licensing:
Relevant Property & Casualty license
Work Schedule:
Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch)
Compensation: Depends on experience
$45,000 -$60,000 per year
