Back-End Engineer DeFi Infrastructure

An exciting opportunity to build high-performance backend services for DeFi asset management. You'll work at the intersection of data indexing, smart contracts, and financial protocols, helping scale on-chain portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems for DeFi portfolio management
• Implement indexing pipelines and integrate with on-chain/off-chain data sources
• Build APIs for portfolio insights and strategy performance
• Collaborate across teams to optimize user experience and system efficiency
• Conduct security reviews, write tests, and monitor production systems

Requirements

• 3+ years in backend development (TypeScript/Rust, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis)
• Experience with DeFi protocols, smart contracts, and EVM ecosystems
• Proficiency in Web3 tools (Web3.js, Ethers.js) and distributed system design
• Strong API development skills (REST/GraphQL) and DevOps experience
• Knowledge of on-chain data indexing, portfolio theory, and risk management
• Open-source contributions in Web3 or DeFi projects
• Experience with DAOs, asset managers, or financial strategy development
