Python Developer

Our client is a leading global quantitative investment firm is seeking a Python Developer to strengthen its platform team. The role focuses on managing large-scale datasets, building robust data infrastructure, and supporting quantitative researchers and traders with reliable data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage extensive datasets used in the research and trading platform
• Design and implement the firm's data store and API
• Monitor data-fetching processes and ensure data quality
• Integrate alternative datasets into the platform
• Provide technical support to quantitative researchers and traders

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to understand user needs and communicate effectively
• Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies
• Capacity to work independently within a global team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing structured and unstructured data
• Knowledge of financial data related to equities and derivatives
• Prior experience with financial data vendors or market data
