About the Company
Our client is a reputable manufacturer of precision components and modules in high-mix low-volume, with specialization in very complex machining, high surface finishing and product cleanliness. They are an established supplier for many major global players in the Optical, Semicon, Diagnostics, Medical, and Life Science industries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product Quality Control
- Assist HOD in supervising daily QC tasks management and oversee a team of QC Technicians.
- Product Quality inspection of precision mechanical parts, materials within stipulated timeframe. Manage overall Defective Material Reports (DMRs), troubleshoot and resolve quality issues by coordinating with other departments.
- Manage quality rejection in ERP system, quality analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Manage QC instruments upkeep and maintenance, and take part in continuous improvement projects
- Ensure compliance of ISO standards and 5S practice in day-to-day QC operation.
- Client-Centric Quality Management
- Partner with clients to customize QC and QA processes to meet their specific requirements.
- Ensure consistent delivery of top-quality products for industries such as semiconductor, diagnostics, and life sciences.
- Team Leadership and Quality Improvement
- Lead and mentor the QC team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Oversee inspections, defect management, and corrective actions to maintain product quality.
- Initiate process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce defect rates.
- Documentation Control
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including procedures, manuals, and records.
- Ensure documentation compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
- Manage document version control, ensuring accessibility and consistency across the organization
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality, preferably in precision engineering or related industries. This role requires expert knowledge in using measurement tolls such as Calliper, Micrometre, CMM etc
- Good knowledge in reading and interpreting 3D mechanical drawing
- Strong understanding of ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Proven track record of managing QC teams and driving process improvements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge in precision measurement tools
- Familiarity with the quality requirements of semiconductor, diagnostics, and life sciences sectors is a plus
- Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams

Up to MYR 6,000
