About the Company

  • Our client is the fastest-growing Korean convenience store chain and they are looking for a dynamic individual to join their team as Manager / Senior Manager - Warehouse, Logistics & Supply Chain.

Job Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations Management

- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, order fulfillment, and dispatching goods.

- Ensure the warehouse layout is optimized for efficiency and safety.

- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and fulfillment activities at distribution centers.

2. Inventory Management

- Develop and execute inventory control systems to maintain stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.

- Conduct monthly stock take and reconcile variances regularly.

- Ensure inventory levels meet business demands while avoiding overstock or stockouts.

3. Distribution Center Oversight

- Manage the operations of the distribution centers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to stores without any delay.

- Coordinate with transport providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions.

Monitor and track delivery performance, addressing any delays or issues promptly.

- Oversee the fulfilment process to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.

4. Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination

- Collaborate with procurement to align warehouse and logistics activities with overall business objectives.

- Plan and schedule deliveries and pickups to optimize routes and minimize transportation costs.

5. Team Management and Development

- Monitor warehouse and logistics staff to enhance productivity and morale.

- Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.

- Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

6. Compliance and Reporting

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

- Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including inventory levels, delivery performance, and cost efficiency.

- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices in warehouse and logistics management.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably in a retail or FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or related software.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with distribution center operations and transportation regulations.

Remuneration

  • MYR 10,000 - MYR 20,000
