Our Client is an established automotive management consulting company with global presence. They are currently looking for a Warranty  Helpdesk Team Leader as they expand their business globally.  

Key Objectives

  • Review warranty claims / prior approvals in line with the warranty and policy guidelines
  • Respond to and resolve any warranty claim / prior approval* enquiries, ensuring dealer awareness and compliance with warranty policy guidelines.
  • Follow up dealers for reviewed claim submission.


Operation Responsibilities

  • Maintain thorough working knowledge of warranty policy guidelines and repair procedures.
  • Act as a warranty resource for dealers, warranty operations and OEM personnel and answer general warranty enquiries as required.
  • Identify and report on any trends and ad hoc practices and advise dealers of cost-effective alternatives as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with the quality system.
  • Support Warranty report / or any related development as required.
  • Dealers warranty audits and health check as required.
  • Supporting dealers on-boarding of new warranty staff.


Team Leaders Responsibilities

  • Managing warranty teams KPI, performance and workload
  • Ensuring deliverables with the highest quality
  • Administrative support to team members
  • Monthly meeting and updates with business head


Qualifications:

  • High vocational or higher in Automotive, Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineers
  • 3 5 years warranty processing experience in dealership or NSC
  • Automotive technical knowledge and skills is required
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Advanced computer skills:
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI)
    • Experience in SAP is preferrable.
  • Ability to cope with fast paced working environment
  • Excellent skill in MS office program especially in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good command in spoken and written in English
