- Our client is the fastest-growing Korean convenience store chain and they are looking for a dynamic individual to join their team as Manager of Retail Business System.
Overview :
As the Manager of Financial Information System, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's financial information system. This role requires a strong understanding of both finance and information technology to ensure that financial data is accurately recorded, processed, and reported in compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Design and Implementation
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to design and implement financial information systems that meet the organization's needs.
- Assess existing systems and recommend enhancements or upgrades to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assess impact of system enhancements/promotional campaigns on financial system.
2. Data Management
- Oversee the collection, storage, and management of financial data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality and consistency.
3. Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes through automation and technology enhancements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement solutions that drive efficiency and productivity.
4. Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure that financial information systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Implement controls and security measures to mitigate risks related to data privacy, security breaches, and fraud.
5. User Training and Support
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively utilize financial information systems.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical assistance as needed to maintain system functionality.
6. Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers to ensure timely support and maintenance of financial information systems.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts to secure cost-effective solutions for the organization.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing retail POS systems, preferably Xilnex.
- Experience in retail operations, system implementation, and IT support is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Xilnex POS system, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management, and retail workflows.
- Proficiency in SQL databases, cloud-based systems, and API integrations.
- Experience in system migration, upgrades, and software deployment.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and user access controls.
