About the Company

  • Our client is the fastest-growing Korean convenience store chain with around 80 outlets and they are looking for a dynamic individual to join their team as Visual Merchandising, Space, Range & Display Manager. 

Job Responsibilities

1. Visual Merchandising Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising guidelines across all stores.
  • Plan, design, and execute store layouts, product placements, and promotional displays to maximize sales.
  • Ensure consistency in brand presentation, signage, and store aesthetics.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align visual displays with campaigns and promotions.
  • Develop seasonal and thematic merchandising plans for special events and holidays.
  • Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organization, and product visibility.

2. Store Performance & Sales Optimization
  • Analyze sales data, customer traffic, and purchasing patterns to improve visual strategies.
  • Work closely with the data analytics team to assess the impact of merchandising on sales performance.
  • Optimize shelf arrangements, store flow, and signage placement to enhance customer engagement.
  • Implement planograms and store zoning strategies for product categories.

3. Store Audits & Compliance
  • Conduct regular store visits to evaluate visual merchandising effectiveness.
  • Ensure all stores comply with company merchandising standards.
  • Provide feedback and improvement plans for underperforming stores.
  • Monitor and manage in-store fixtures, signage, and display materials.

4. Team Training & Coordination
  • Train and guide store managers and staff on visual merchandising best practices.
  • Work closely with store operations, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop training manuals and guidelines for store teams.

5. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend new merchandising techniques and innovations to improve store appeal.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelors degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in convenience stores or retail.
  • Strong knowledge of store layouts, planograms, and retail display techniques.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and customer insights to drive visual strategies.
  • Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
  • Willingness to travel for store visits and audits.
  • Proficiency in design software (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.

Remuneration:

Up to MYR 8,000
