Data Analyst

We are a start-up data solutions provider based in Malaysia that is primarily serving the gaming industry.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated data analyst to join our team. As a data analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to inform business decisions and drive operational improvements. Your primary role will be to use statistical and analytical techniques to extract insights from data, identify trends and patterns, and present findings to a variety of stakeholders. You should be comfortable working with large datasets, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and organize large sets of data from various sources
• Use statistical and analytical techniques to extract insights and identify trends and patterns in the data
• Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and provide data-driven recommendations
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools in data analysis
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, statistics)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience working with large datasets and data management techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
• Passionate about data and harnessing the values of data

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related field
• Experience with machine learning techniques and tools
• Experience working in a business setting and using data to inform decision-making
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in relevant field

Working Hours
Flexible; 40 hours a week

Remuneration
MYR 8,000 - MYR 10,000
