Finance Executive - Account Receivable

Responsibilities

• To report regularly to the finance manager on the work deliverables.
• Ensure petty cash transactions are properly recorded and monitored.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation, to investigate and resolve any reconciliation differences.
• Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
• Researching and resolving account discrepancies.
• Processing and recording transactions.
• Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
• Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.
• Working with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms.
• Process payments for expenses in accordance with approved procedures and agreed credit terms.
• Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
• Generating reports and statements for internal use.
• Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of working experience in similar position, preferably in Food and Beverage or Hospitality industry.
• Possess a recognized degree in Accountancy or professional qualification.
• Strong command of written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Strong computing skill and experienced in operating e-Finance systems.

Remuneration

RM 3,500 to RM 5,500
