About the Company:
Our client is a Malaysia-based leading Total Facility Solutions Provider with over 30 years of technical excellence in Hi-Tech facility solutions through various service models.
Job Responsibilities:
- To be in charge in all aspects of finance, accounting and corporate activities including planning, organizing, supervising and monitoring the accounts and finance department;
- To responsible and ensure timely submission of financial related reports included but not limited to Monthly Management Report, Project PL, Cash Flow Projection, Periodical Variance Analysis, Annual Budget and other ad-hoc financial related reports as required, to ensure all reports are prepared in complete and accurate manner in accordance to the Group policies, local accounting reporting standard and regulatory requirement;
- To reconcile the management report between Group Accounting Policy and Local accounting standard and provide the notes of explanation;
- To ensure complete, accurate and timely submission of all kind of taxes reporting, taxes filing and taxes payments to tax authorities;
- To ensure closely follow up with client for timely AR collection and arrange prompt AP payment, Loan Repayment and other operating expenses which are due for payment;
- To ensures that all finance activities are performed in the most effective and efficient manner, sets targets for the team members and provide the necessary coaching to further optimize performance;
- To assist on project financing application including compiling project information, prepare project cash flow and others related documents according to the business needs and bank requirement;
- To coordinate and monitor the project financing terms and conditions, schedule of payment and to identify the opportunities to minimize the financial costs;
- To control and monitor intercompany transactions and balances, trade and nontrade (AR & AP) transactions and balances, company cash flow and balance sheet items;
- To manage and review the tax compliance process, ie. Tax estimation, tax computation, coordinate and address the taxes inquiries from authorities;
- To schedule and manage the Statutory Audit and ensure timely completion of the audit as per Group Audit Deadline and all regulatory requirement and filing;
- Liaise and maintaining good relationship with external parties including auditors, company secretary, tax agents, bankers, solicitors, government officers etc.;
- To ensure the internal control on financial and management operations, business processes and systems are compliance with Group policies, procedures, government and statutory regulations; 14. Undertake special assignment, ad hoc functions and related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy/ Finance or equivalent
- At least 10 years in the accounting, audit or taxation field
- Skilled in MS Office application, ERP Accounting Systems.
- Preferably a member of the professional bodies;
- Hand-on experience in auditing, taxation, accounting and group consolidation accounting;
- Team player with strong communication and supervisory skills;
- Being flexible and adaptable at works.
Remuneration:
- Basic: MYR 10,000 to MYR 15,000
- Annual performance bonus
