Performance Marketing Manager

Role overview

We are looking for a Performance Marketing Manager (Affiliate‑Led) with proven experience in the adult industry to own and scale our affiliate channel while also managing complementary performance channels (paid media, funnels, CRO and remarketing). The role is hands‑on, data‑driven and commercially focused, operating in a fast‑moving, compliance‑sensitive adult environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Own strategy, execution and optimisation for the affiliate channel as the primary growth lever, driving customer acquisition, revenue and LTV across adult products and services.

  • Recruit, onboard and manage affiliates and networks, from prospecting and outreach through to activation, optimisation and retention.

  • Negotiate and manage commercial deals (CPA, CPL, CPS, rev share, hybrid) to hit performance targets while maintaining traffic quality and brand safety.

  • Monitor daily performance metrics and cohorts (clicks, leads, FTDs, trials, subs, ARPU, churn, ROI) and implement continuous optimisation on landing pages, funnels and offers.

  • Manage or support other performance channels such as PPC, paid social, native, programmatic and media buying, ensuring channel mix is optimised against growth and efficiency goals.

  • Brief, test and iterate creatives and pre‑landers across affiliates and paid channels (banners, video, advertorials, email, push, native, social formats).

  • Own A/B and multivariate testing roadmaps for key journeys (signup, trial, paywall, upsell flows) in collaboration with product, CRM and design.

  • Work closely with CRM/retention teams on lifecycle campaigns (email, push, in‑app) to maximise LTV from affiliate and paid‑media cohorts.

  • Oversee tracking, attribution and reporting across affiliates and paid channels, working with analytics/engineering to maintain accurate pixels, postbacks and S2S integrations.

  • Ensure all marketing activity complies with internal guidelines, platform policies and adult‑industry regulations, including age‑verification, geo‑specific restrictions and brand standards.

  • Produce clear weekly and monthly channel reports, insight decks and forecasts, highlighting wins, risks and opportunities across both affiliate and non‑affiliate activity.

Required experience

  • 3–5+ years in performance marketing, with at least 2 years owning or co‑owning an affiliate program, ideally in the adult, dating or closely related verticals.

  • Demonstrable success in scaling affiliate programs plus hands-on experience with at least one additional performance channel (e.g. Meta, Google, native, programmatic, media buying networks).

  • Strong background in funnel analytics, A/B testing and conversion‑rate optimisation across desktop and mobile.

  • Practical experience with tracking and analytics tooling (affiliate platforms, tracking solutions, web analytics, BI dashboards).

  • Proven track record of working with compliance, legal and product in regulated or policy‑sensitive environments.

Skills and competencies

  • Highly analytical, comfortable working with performance dashboards, spreadsheets and BI tools to make decisions.

  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills; confident managing partners, agencies and networks.

  • Hands‑on executor who is comfortable setting strategy but also building campaigns, setting up tests and digging into data personally.

  • Clear communicator able to brief creatives, explain performance drivers and present insights to non‑technical stakeholders.

  • Resilient, discreet and comfortable working in the adult industry with a pragmatic, solutions‑oriented mindset.

Nice to have

  • Existing network of adult affiliates, media buyers and traffic sources.

  • Experience in multi‑market campaigns and localisation.

  • Familiarity with server‑to‑server tracking, privacy changes and their impact on performance marketing.
