Talent Acquisition Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for filtering through talent applications, conducting screenings, and maintaining talent relationships during the initial talent acquisition process. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of key talent traits that align with brand and company requirements, along with possessing high emotional intelligence to vet and secure qualified talent.
This role is suited for a candidate that is data driven with high attention to details, is highly motivated and passionate about supporting creative talent, with a background in building programs and strategies to identify, cast, and develop new on-camera personalities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain various talent pipelines across multiple digital platforms
Manage and regularly maintain “new talent” database with updated information
Seek out promotional opportunities on creator platforms to attract first time talent
Attend industry events and network with possible talent candidates
Serve as the first point of contact to assist in “First Time Talent”'s overall VMG experience
Review submissions and respond in a timely manner
- Own the vetting process of first time non-agency talent
Secure necessary IDs and assets to confirm talent eligibility
Conduct multiple phone screenings and/or interviews as needed
Transition talent successfully to booking team
Collaborate with Head of Casting for talent approvals
Participate in negotiating talent rates as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years proven experience in, Casting, and/or Public Relations
Background working within the digital entertainment industry, including but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, podcasting, and short-form is highly desirable.
Strong experience in project management and software (Excel, Smartsheets, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Monday, Dropbox, etc.)
Excellent organizational, verbal, and writing skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask.
Positive attitude and ability to be flexible in an ever-changing environment.
Proven ability to solve problems and interact with a wide variety of personalities.
Experience with COVID Protocols
