About the job [LATAM Or NON-LATAM] - GHL Developer
GoHighLevel (GHL) Developer
Location: Remote
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $10 USD/hour
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced GoHighLevel (GHL) Developer with strong hands-on experience building, managing, and troubleshooting GHL systems and automations.
This role goes beyond basic GHL administration. The ideal candidate understands holistic systems integration and how different technologies work together — including GHL workflows, APIs, Zapier, web development, email servers, DNS, domains, forms, third-party applications, and other backend systems.
You should be comfortable identifying the root cause of technical issues, connecting different platforms, and building reliable systems that work together seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, test, and troubleshoot GoHighLevel workflows and automations.
- Create, configure, and maintain GHL snapshots.
- Build and optimize triggers, campaigns, pipelines, forms, calendars, and automation sequences.
- Configure and troubleshoot third-party integrations and backend connections.
- Connect GHL with external platforms using Zapier, webhooks, APIs, and other integration tools.
- Troubleshoot issues involving workflows, integrations, forms, domains, email delivery, and other technical systems.
- Support the setup and management of domains, DNS records, email servers, SMTP, and related configurations.
- Understand basic web development concepts and how websites, forms, APIs, domains, and backend systems interact.
- Maintain and optimize existing GHL systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Thoroughly test automations and integrations before deployment.
- Identify technical problems independently and implement effective solutions.
- Document systems, workflows, integrations, and troubleshooting procedures when needed.
- Support ongoing technical and automation-related projects across the business.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (GHL).
- Advanced understanding of GHL workflows, automations, triggers, campaigns, pipelines, forms, and snapshots.
- Experience with Zapier or similar automation/integration platforms.
- Understanding of APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with domains, DNS, email servers, SMTP, and email configuration.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of web development and how websites communicate with backend systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to understand how multiple systems connect and identify where an issue is occurring.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage technical tasks in a remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new software, platforms, and technologies quickly.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who thinks like a systems developer, not just a GHL user.
You should be able to look at a business's technology stack and understand how the different pieces connect — from the website and domain, to DNS and email servers, to GHL, workflows, APIs, Zapier, webhooks, and third-party applications.
You don't need to be an expert in every technology, but you should be technically curious, resourceful, and capable of troubleshooting issues across multiple platforms rather than only within GHL.
