As a BI Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Working closely with end users and cross-functional teams, you will design, implement, and support BI solutions while facilitating complex data requests. This is a dynamic role where you will combine strong technical skills with business acumen to optimize processes, improve reporting capabilities, and enable data-driven strategies across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Business Intelligence solutions that support strategic business objectives.
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and develop optimization strategies.
- Perform data analysis and translate findings into meaningful reports and dashboards.
- Lead ongoing reviews of business processes to identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain Transact-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schema designs.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure timely delivery of BI solutions.
- Prepare and present insights to management and cross-functional teams.
- Provide training, coaching, and guidance to junior team members.
- Monitor performance, allocate resources, and maintain cost efficiency across BI projects.
Technical Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4+ years of experience designing and implementing BI solutions.
- 4+ years of database development and management experience, with strong understanding of database structures, principles, and best practices.
- Strong expertise in Transact-SQL (stored procedures, functions, triggers, schema design).
- Hands-on experience with reporting and query tools, including dashboard creation and data visualization.
- Proven experience analyzing large datasets and delivering actionable insights.
- Previous experience in the online trading industry is a strong advantage.
