As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and developing Software Defined Radio solutions, collaborating closely with Electronics, Mechanical, and Software Engineers. This is a hands-on role where you will drive prototype and production designs, ensuring optimal system performance, and take responsibility for the design, signal integrity, and interfacing of system boards and I/O solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Software Defined Radio systems alongside a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Design, create, and maintain schematic designs, including system boards and I/O solutions.
- Perform signal integrity analysis and support PCB design and manufacturing.
- Lead prototype and production designs according to SDR system specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, customer support, and product management, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware designs using standard lab tools like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
- Assist project managers by closing out internal process deliverables and supporting product lifecycle activities.
Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware development, particularly in wireless communication technologies.
- Strong experience in full lifecycle development of digital hardware at the board/circuit level.
- Expertise in schematic capture, layout tools, and debugging hardware systems.
- Experience working with high-speed FPGA processors (Xilinx Zynq preferred).
- Hands-on experience with high-speed interfaces such as PCI Express, JESD204, and 10G Ethernet.
- Familiarity with FPGA design and debug processes is a plus.
- Low-level software development experience (C/C++) is a bonus.
