Key Responsibilities
Macroeconomic & Market Insights
- Analyse macroeconomic and regional trends to inform strategic direction.
- Build and maintain key economic indicator databases and financial intelligence tools.
- Provide strategic advice on investment opportunities and market positioning.
Strategic Partnerships & Engagement
- Develop strong relationships with government, regulators, global institutions, and industry leaders.
- Represent the organisation at regional and international forums, producing thought-leadership papers and insights.
- Build alliances with key stakeholders to strengthen influence and market relevance.
Strategy Design & Evolution
- Lead the design and continuous evolution of the 2030 strategic vision.
- Drive research and analysis to assess feasibility and ensure initiatives align with long-term objectives.
- Monitor and course-correct initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader national and regional agendas.
Execution & Delivery
- Translate long-term vision into actionable strategies, programs, and ventures.
- Govern and manage new initiatives and ventures, ensuring progress against agreed milestones.
- Provide oversight and regular updates to senior leadership and boards.
Sector & Centre Development
- Support regulatory innovation and industry development across financial services, fintech, and adjacent sectors.
- Lead sustainability and ESG initiatives, as well as innovation and incubation programs.
- Benchmark products, services, and regulations to maintain competitive edge globally.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1015 years of relevant experience in global financial, technology, or innovation ecosystems.
- 510 years in progressive leadership roles within strategy functions.
- Advanced degree from a top-tier university in Economics, Finance, Strategy, Technology, or related fields.
- Strong track record in shaping and delivering large-scale strategies, with an ability to work across government and private sector stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
