Job Summary
This role is for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives on delivering actionable insights through data-driven analysis. Youll act as a strategic partner to operational teams, driving visibility, improving cost efficiency, and supporting sustainable business growth. A key focus will be leveraging BI tools for automation and visualization, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Financial Performance
- Provide timely and accurate analysis to support decision-making for senior management.
- Drive improvements in conversion costs and fixed overheads versus budget and historical performance.
- Deliver visibility on key business metrics through data extraction, visualization, and actionable insights.
Digital Transformation & Data Integration
- Lead finance digitalization initiatives, with a focus on Power BI dashboards and process automation.
- Integrate diverse internal and external data sources for seamless business analysis and optimized workflows.
Forecasting, Budgeting & Reporting
- Contribute to annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, including template development.
- Manage financial reporting and analysis activities, ensuring standard and ad-hoc reports are accurate and insightful.
- Conduct margin improvement analysis (Price, Mix, Volume) to support profitability initiatives.
Business Partnering & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with operations, supply chain, procurement, and other support functions.
- Partner with site teams to identify focus areas, run simulations, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
- Support ad-hoc business improvement projects and provide financial perspectives.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in finance, with at least 6 years in FP&A.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel and data management skills; Power BI proficiency is highly advantageous.
- Chartered Accountant qualification is preferred.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
