As a Senior Engineer – Network Prototyping, you will design, develop, execute, and demonstrate early-stage product prototypes based on customer requirements and real-world use cases. This is a hands-on role where you will drive rapid, iterative development across diverse hardware platforms, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and play a key part in bringing next-generation networking products from concept to customer demonstration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and evaluate early-stage networking prototypes to meet defined performance specifications.
• Perform quick and iterative development of networking functionalities for assessment across different hardware platforms and configurations.
• Conduct functional and preliminary code-based unit testing and provide feedback to architects.
• Design and develop networking features to operate across variable networking conditions.
• Set up demos and test environments for protocol testing and customer demonstrations.
• Work with testing teams to ensure prototypes meet all customer requirements.
• Analyse and resolve networking-related issues within prototype environments.
• Produce clear and concise developer documentation and actively participate in prototyping activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and share knowledge with relevant stakeholders.
• Support teams on networking activities related to modems and other networking products.

Technical Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in networking, prototyping, and software development.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and Linux networking.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python; ability to code quickly across languages.
• Experience with prototyping, simulators, and setting up demonstrations.
• Familiarity with networking equipment such as traffic generators, modems, routers, and network analysers.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Experience presenting technical demonstrations to customers or stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
