About the Job

The Executive/Senior Executive, Creative & Brand Assurance (CBA) plays a key role in supporting Business Unit Head's to meet the goals and objectives of our client's company. This person will help drive the creative strategy and direction set by the Business Unit while building strong working relationships with licensees and partners.

Main Responsibilities

Brand Assurance and Creative

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with licensees to support brand assurance and creative needs.
  • Work closely with internal teams (licensing, sales, marketing) across the SEA region.
  • Ensure all creative and brand assurance deliverables align with brand guidelines from the IPs/Principals represented by our client's company.
  • Provide full support on all aspects of brand assurance and creative-related tasks.
  • Assist in researching and developing branding, style guides, and creative projects or in preparing creative briefs for design agencies.

Brand Assurance / Licensee Management and Compliance

  • Ensure high compliance by licensees at every product stage (concept, pre-production, final).
  • Maintain clear and timely communication between licensees and the Principals.
  • Conduct brand assurance workshops and offer technical guidance to licensees.
  • Ensure licensees maximise the use of style guides and trend programs provided by our client's company.
  • Collaborate with sales to help licensees meet their contractual product development and launch obligations.

Product Development

  • Possess a solid understanding of the product development cycle, seasonal trends, color usage, and new technologies.
  • Organise product development meetings with key licensees to brainstorm and align on creative ideas and styling directions.

Creative Projects

  • Assist the sales team with creative concepts and product visuals for pitching purposes.
  • Support licensees with product concept development or final artwork execution.
  • Create impactful advertising and marketing materials to support product launches, marketing campaigns, retail promotions, and store openings.

Others

  • Manage and distribute all creative assets including style guides, trend programs, and other proprietary materials.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensure security of creative materials, and maintain proper records.
  • Handle communication with licensees about new or discontinued style guide materials.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma, preferably in Design, Arts, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in licensing, advertising, or creative/design agencies.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Familiarity with After Effects or 3D design tools is an added advantage.
  • Must be fluent in English and Japanese (spoken and written), due to the brands managed by our client's company.
  • Proactive and independent, with strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • A team player with the initiative to drive tasks to completion.

Other key details

  • Japanese proficiency is MUST
  • He/she will need to be comfortable and come with some experience in doing brand assurance approval work and creative design work on Adobe will be highly preferred.
