Position: Special Education Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs

- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the individual needs of students

- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment

- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to accommodate different learning styles

- Monitor and track student progress, and make necessary adjustments to instructional strategies

- Provide support and accommodations for students during assessments and exams

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and IEPs

- Attend and participate in team meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth for all students

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field. 

- License to teach in current location.

- Must currently work as a teacher.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with special needs

- Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to changing situations

- Passion for working with students with diverse learning needs and a commitment to their success
