Position

As a Senior Power BI developer at ICT Strypes, you will use Power BI to develop and implement solutions in the form of business reports or work on existing ones, with the goal of providing a web application for senior management and engineers on field to make sure processes are followed.

The candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication, as the successful candidate will need to play a key role in working with the Senior Architect to help transform the product's future development direction.

Job Description:

• Understanding of business use cases and requirements;
• Understanding, implementation, testing and integration of customer and technical requirements;
• Debugging and fixing problems in the existing reports;
• Ensuring up-to-date and high-quality documentation;
• Actively engaging in technical discussions and making solution proposals;
• Actively engaging as a team player, mentoring teammates, and being open to feedback and continuous learning;
• As a Scrum team member, actively participating in Scrum Sprint Plannings, Daily, Refinement, and Retrospective Meetings.

Job Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in developing visual reports KPI scorecards and dashboards using Power BI Desktop;
• Advanced skills in DAX calculations (complex measures, time intelligence, optimization);
• Advanced skills in data transformation with Power Query (M language);
• Experience in connecting data sources, importing and transforming data;
• Experience with incremental refresh, composite models, and aggregations;
• Capability of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI;
• Ability to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards;
• Ability to gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset;
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments;
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences;
• Ability to mentor junior/mid Power BI developers;
• Excellent English

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Azure PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle DB and similar technologies;
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage;
• Work experience in a multinational environment;
• Interest in Data analysis is a plus.
