They are the largest manufacturer of lithography machines that are used for the most important step in making semiconductors. More than 90% of the semiconductors in the world are currently manufactured using ASML systems.

Main Responsibilities:

• Implementation, testing, and integration of customer requirements;
• Debugging and fixing problems in the existing code;
• Ensuring delivery on time;
• Producing up-to-date and high-quality documentation;
• Proactive communication and collaboration with software engineers on customer side;
• Support and mentor junior teammates;
• As a Scrum team member actively participating in Scrum Sprint Plannings, Dailies, Refinement, and Retrospective Meetings.

Essential skills:

• 3+ years of experience in programming in Python v2.7 and v3.+
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications with the Django framework;
• OOP knowledge;
• Proficiency with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc) including schema design, querying and optimization;
• Cloud experience will be considered as an advantage (Azure, Kubernetes, etc);
• Linux/Unix experience will be considered as an advantage;
• Knowledge and experience with good practices in Software Engineering;
• Strong understanding of software version control systems;
• Experience with Agile Methodologies.

Personal skills:

• Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is a must;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• A team player with experience in a diverse multicultural environment.
