About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Technical Writer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. You will collaborate closely with BAs, Solution Architect, Project Managers, Developers, and QA teams to produce high-quality materials that support our products, services, and internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain technical documentation including user guides, API documentation, system manuals, whitepapers, FAQs, release notes, and knowledge-based articles;
• Work with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to understand product features, technical workflows, and system behaviors;
• Translate complex technical information into clear and accessible content for both technical and non-technical audiences;
• Standardize content across documentation to ensure consistency in voice, terminology, and structure;
• Organize and maintain documentation repositories using tools such as Confluence, Git, Markdown, or similar platforms;
• Edit, proofread, and review documentation produced by developers and other team members;
• Ensure documentation aligns with style guides, security standards, and compliance requirements;
• Support product releases with timely updates to documentation and release notes;
• Create diagrams, flowcharts, and visuals to support written content;
• Assist with internal training materials, onboarding guides, and process documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, English, or related field;
• Proven experience (2-5 years) as a Technical Writer in an IT or software-related environment;
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT concepts;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, GitHub, Jira, MS Loop);
• Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and communicate them clearly;
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.

Good to have:

• Experience writing API documentation or working with RESTful services;
• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD);
• Experience creating visual content (diagrams, workflows, tutorials);
• Understanding UX writing principles.
