We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer or SDET with hands-on expertise in Playwright and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have previous development experience to code autonomously for our new automation framework. As an SDET, you will be vital in ensuring software quality and reliability by creating and executing automated tests.

Key Duties:

- Develop and manage automated test scripts utilizing Playwright and TypeScript.

- Collaborate with software developers to grasp product requirements and design test cases.

- Write code from scratch to improve our automation framework.

- Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing for software functionality validation.

- Work closely with the CI/CD team to integrate automated tests into the deployment pipeline.

- Employ CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, Docker for continuous integration and deployment.

- Implement and manage version controls such as GitLab/GitHub for source code repositories.

- Use reporting and logging tools to analyze test outcomes and identify areas for enhancement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for troubleshooting software defects.

- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and automation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of software development or quality assurance experience.

- Proficient in Playwright and TypeScript for automated testing.

- Familiarity with other automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress or WebDriver.io

- Familiarity with CI/CD integration tools like Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Competence in version control with Gitlab or similar tools.

- Experience with reporting tools like Elasticsearch and Kibana is advantageous.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary: $95,767.00 - $120,000.00 per year
