We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer with strong cloud security expertise and hands-on experience protecting modern systems to join our team. This role requires a security professional (5+ years) who can own our security posture end-to-end, design secure systems, proactively identify vulnerabilities, and build a security-first culture while operating at startup speed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage security infrastructure, including identity management, access controls, encryption, and monitoring systems.
  • Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning across applications and infrastructure.
  • Design and implement security controls to protect cloud-native systems and services.
  • Monitor threats, respond to incidents, and lead post-mortem analyses with actionable remediation plans.
  • Partner with engineering teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Promote security awareness and best practices across the organization.
  • Stay ahead of emerging threats, attack vectors, and evolving security risks.


Key Requirements
  • 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, ideally within cloud-native environments.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, tooling, and industry best practices.
  • Experience securing AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.
  • Solid understanding of application security, network security, and infrastructure protection.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, etc.).
  • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and mitigation strategies.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus (CISSP, CEH, OSCP, etc.).


Technical Expectations
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for security automation.
  • Understanding of container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of secrets management, encryption standards, and key management systems.
  • Familiarity with integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to assess risk pragmatically while maintaining strong security standards.
