Teach English to Latin American students full-time from anywhere outside Costa Rica.

  • The Position: Virtual EFL Teacher
  • Location: Outside of Costa Rica
  • Full-time: 18-24+ teaching hours within operational hours from Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM

We're looking for qualified educators who are:

  • Technologically Proficiency: Educators who can easily use key features of technology on multiple platforms such as Moodle, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams to deliver engaging and exciting classes, as technology is an integral part of the virtual teaching toolkit.

Meet minimum requirements:

  • Native-level, C2 proficiency in English
  • ESL/TEFL/CELTA certification or degree equivalent
  • Completed Bachelor's Degree
  • 100+ hours teaching experience
  • 30 MBs of Internet or higher
  • Computer with audio and video, headset
  • Location outside of Costa Rica
  • Valid Passport (International ID) is required as part of employment, even if working remotely outside Costa Rica.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working in business
  • Master's degree
  • Previous experience teaching/living abroad
  • B1 CEFR level proficiency in Spanish

Package Details

Remote Virtual Benefits:

  • A minimum six-month, professional services contract
  • $12 per hour for synchronous virtual instruction time with students
  • Schedules within the ranges of Monday to Saturday, from 7am-9:30pm
