ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a HL7 Integration Engineer to be part of our team.

  • This role is responsible in designing, configuring, and maintaining HL7 and interoperability interfaces that connect healthcare systems and ensure seamless data exchange. You will collaborate with clinical and IT teams, support new customer implementations, and troubleshoot complex integration issues using industry‑standard interface engines such as Summit and Rhapsody. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, technical curiosity, and a passion for healthcare data integration.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Interface Development & Configuration

  • Build, configure, and maintain HL7 interfaces between internal systems and customer applications using Summit Interface Engine and Philips Rhapsody.
  • Assist with interface engine installation, upgrades, and environment configuration.

Interoperability Standards & Data Mapping

  • Apply knowledge of interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, API integrations, and ETL processes.
  • Perform data analysis and mapping to normalize disparate datasets and ensure accurate message transformation and routing.

Troubleshooting & Support

  • Monitor, diagnose, and resolve interface issues to maintain high data integrity and system uptime.
  • Provide support for existing interfaces and participate in continuous enhancement efforts.

Collaboration & Implementation

  • Work closely with customer implementation teams and internal stakeholders to build and validate interfaces for new client onboarding.
  • Produce clear documentation for workflows, configurations, and mapping specifications.

Other Duties

  • Support other integration-related tasks as assigned by leadership.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in any IT‑related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with:
    • HL7 interface integration
    • HL7 standards and message structures
    • Working with clinical and IT stakeholders
  • Experience with Summit or Rhapsody is a strong advantage
  • Strong understanding of hospital workflows and clinical data
  • Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of APIs, FHIR, and data transformation concepts
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Night shift schedule: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Must be flexible for shifting schedules when required
  • Initial on-site setup at Tower 1, Rockwell Business Center, Ortigas (beside The Medical City)
  • Hybrid arrangement available after transition and training
