Position Overview:

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for procurement, inventory management, and production coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient flow of materials and finished goods while optimizing costs and maintaining compliance with State Regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Supply Chain Analyst shall perform duties and responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and competitive pricing.
  • Monitor purchase orders, lead times, and deliveries to meet production demands.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that support production while controlling costs.
  • Provide procurement documentation to support audits and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements using relevant software.
  • Ensure all materials meet quality and regulatory standards for manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with production, finance, and compliance teams to align procurement with business objectives.

Inventory Management

  • Use software tools (Canix, MS Office, Monday.com, GSuite) to maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Define and optimize PAR levels to prevent shortages or overages.
  • Forecast and monitor inventory levels to support growth and market expansion.

Production Planning Coordination

  • Work with production and packaging teams to develop schedules aligned with demand forecasts.
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth workflow and minimize downtime due to raw inventory issues.
  • Assist in scaling operations to support a potential second shift.

Cost Control Compliance

  • Identify opportunities to reduce supply chain costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure all supply chain activities comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Support financial reporting by providing accurate cost and inventory data.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.


Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, ideally in food, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and production planning processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across departments.
  • Knowledge of state regulations is preferred but not required.
  • Amenable to work on a nightshift schedule.
