ROLE OVERVIEW
The Total Rewards Associate is responsible for supporting the administration of employee
compensation and benefits programs. Assist in ensuring that these programs are competitive,
compliant, and effectively meet the needs of employees.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Total Rewards Associate shall perform duties and responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
Mandatory and Statutory Benefits
- Monitors updates to labor regulations and promptly communicates changes impacting employee wages and benefits.
- Reports new employees to government agencies (SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-IBIG) for updating of Employer information.
- Ensures timely and accurate payroll deductions, remittance, and posting of government contributions and loan payments.
- Prepares and provides employees with necessary documents for government benefits or compliance.
- Provides consultation and guidance to employees for the availment procedures of statutory benefits.
- Validates submitted documents for SSS Maternity and Sickness benefits claims, monitors and ensures timely disbursement of benefits.
- Coordinates with Finance for check issuance and reimbursement of advanced benefits.
- Updates and maintains a record of monthly government contributions, loan payments, and advanced benefits; Reconciles documents and remittances with employee list, payment documents, online transactions and/or receipts.
- Maintains organized, efficient and accurate and updated records/filing system of all government contributions and loan payments, both electronic and printed copies.
- Reconciles documents relevant to remittances with employee lists, proof of payments, and online or over-the-counter transaction receipts.
- Manages SSS R1A, Philhealth ER2, and other government certificates of contributions.
Company-initiated Benefits Programs
- Tracks and releases HMO cards, manages HMO/GLI enrollment and deletion, and encodes HMO accounts.
- Tracks iCare program, conducts C&B information drives, and manages ORUS registration.
- Manages ticket management system and oversees C&B filing processes.
- Source, identify, and present insurance providers to management based on the company's benefits strategy.
- Administer employee health insurance plans by ensuring timely enrollment of eligible employees and their dependents.
- Act as the point of contact, coordinates with health insurance providers to resolve issues related to benefits claims promptly.
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to review and maintain accurate records of covered employees, dependents, and terminated employees to ensure accurate billing.
- Advise and inform employees of changes and developments related to benefits, including eligibility, coverage, and provisions.
- Conduct C&B information drives and managing ORUS registration
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Preferably, college graduate of any related course (Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field)
- At least 2+ years HR Generalist experience
- Hands-on experience on the following
- Local / National Government Remittance & Claims
- Monitoring and making reports
- Familiar the payment process
- Company-initiated Benefits programs & corporate events
- Familiar with using MS Excel (must be at least an Intermediate Level in skills & knowledge)
- Basic Formulas
- v/x Look-up commands
- Formula navigation
- Preferred to have basic knowledge & usage on using Canva
- Creating & editing posters & design
- Open to work on Shifting schedule
- Predominantly on a mid-shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- But should be flexible to report on shifting schedule as well, especially during company-related events (Ops time – GY/NS)
- Hybrid Work set-up
- 2-3x a week onsite (either Robinsons Bridgetowne Zeta or Rockwell Business Center Ortigas)
