ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Collections Specialist to be part of our team.

• The role involves managing Social Security Administration (SSA) Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) accounts receivable, maintaining SSA contacts, analyzing fee-related correspondence, and supporting collections in alignment with client contracts.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Call the Social Security Administration (SSA) Payment Centers for status checks on outstanding SSDI AR invoices.
• Analyze documents, and respond to SSA, on all fee related correspondence
• Create and maintain extensive contacts throughout all SSA Payment Centers with Benefit Authorizers, Claim Authorizers, and Deputy and Mod managers.
• Extensive knowledge of client contracts and how it relates to accounts receivable, collections and fee schedules
• Reports directly to the Senior Collections Analyst
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year and up collections experience.
• Excellent organizational and communications skills (oral and written), ability to think strategically, manage projects independently, and pursue multiple objectives simultaneously.
• Demonstrated technical and SSDI process knowledge and proven strategic thinking skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce, and experience using GL Systems Workday a plus.
• Willing to work a night shift schedule.
• Willing to work onsite in Tower 1 Rockwell Business Center, Ortigas
