INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an Instructional Designer to be part of our team.

  • This role is to design and develop engaging, effective, and scalable learning experiences for our workforce.
  • This role plays a key part in supporting employee development and operational excellence in a fast-paced BPO environment. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and e-learning technologies.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Learning Design & Development

  • Design learning materials and experiences for instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (vILT), and self-paced e-learning (CBT).
  • Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to structure content for maximum learning impact.
  • Create storyboards, scripts, and course outlines aligned with learning objectives.

Collaboration with Stakeholders

  • Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), trainers, and business leaders to gather content, validate accuracy, and align learning outcomes with business needs.
  • Participate in project planning and content review meetings to ensure timely development of training materials.

Content Authoring & Multimedia

  • Develop interactive learning content using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, and Canva.
  • Integrate graphics, audio, video, and quizzes to enhance learner engagement.
  • Ensure all content is accessible, culturally appropriate, and visually aligned with brand standards.

Quality Assurance

  • Review and test courses for accuracy, functionality, grammar, and learner experience prior to deployment.
  • Ensure training materials meet quality, compliance, and accessibility standards.

Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and course analytics.
  • Recommend improvements based on learner feedback and business performance data.
  • Stay updated with instructional design trends, tools, and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in instructional design or learning content development.
  • Experience working in a BPO or fast-paced corporate environment is an advantage.
  • Training delivery background is an advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Comfortable using LMS platforms for testing, uploading, and organizing courses.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and creative problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able and willing to work on a shifting schedule.
  • Willing to work on a hybrid setup and the site is at 6th Floor Tower 1 Rockwell Business, Ortigas, Pasig
