About the role

We are seeking experienced sales & business development with a strong focus on agency and insurance to join our dynamic team. As a Area Sales Manager you will be working with the commercial team and play a crucial role in partnership to make Igloo become the future of insurance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Recruitment of New Agents: Actively recruit new agents in accordance with set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring the selection of motivated and high-performing individuals to contribute positively to team performance and company objectives.
  • Agent Development: Effectively develop newly recruited and existing agents through comprehensive training programs and mentorship.
  • KPI Accountability: Be accountable for achieving assigned KPIs. These may include areas such as recruitment targets, individual and team sales targets, agent activity ratios, and overall productivity per agent.
  • Build Positive Relationships: Foster good relationships with agents based on mutual respect and understanding. Regularly communicate with them to keep them motivated and informed about team goals, company updates and sales strategies.
  • Problem Solving Assistance: Provide timely assistance to agents who encounter problems or challenges.



Job Requirements

    • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Management or equivalent
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in the agency business, experience in general insurance would be advantageous
    • Possess good communication skills with agents and with the marketing team
    • Strong networking in the agency business
    • Proficiency in English & Indonesian language.
