About the role 

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a strong focus on client relationship management and partnership development to join our dynamic team. As an Account Manager you will be working with the Commercial team and play a crucial role in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with our commercial partners reinforcing Igloo's position as a leader in the insurtech industry and advancing our mission of making insurance accessible and affordable across diverse markets.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients within the organization.
  • Develop strategic account plans to understand client needs and align company products/services accordingly.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals, address concerns, and provide solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent communication and delivery of value.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue from existing accounts.
  • Work closely with the sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Address and resolve client issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Utilize data and analytics to track account performance and provide insights.
  • Use data-driven approaches to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Implement innovative sales strategies to increase sales
  • Onboard and train clients sales/training team on the products and services
  • Regular branch visits to clients stores/branches
  • Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing clients
  • Conduct regular check-ins to understand their needs and concerns
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure prompt issue resolution

Job Requirements  

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferably from Marketing, Sales, Business fields 
  • 1 to 2 years of Account Management experience, preferably with proven Sales and Partnership Development experiences.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Prior experience working in a high-growth environment, ideally with a mix of experience in MNCs and start ups
  • Critical thinking skills and growth mindset
  • A self-starter with hands-on experience
