Finance Manager, Vietnam

Responsibilities:

This role will be overseeing the financial activities of Axinan Vietnam. The candidate should come with solid accounting and tax experience preferably from industries related to insurance or fintech/ecommerce. 

The scope includes but is not limited to the following:

- Oversee and monitor the day-to-day accounting activities

- Provide guidance and training to the accounts executive

- Study the commercial contracts and liaise with commercial teams to understand the transaction flow and establish the accounting treatments

- Oversee the AR and AP and ensure complete and accurate billing; ensure timely collections and payments; ensure correct taxes apply on each transaction

- Ensure balance sheet schedules are maintained on a timely basis

- Monitor monthly closing activities to ensure timely and accurate management reporting

- Liaise with the accounting firm and ensure timely and accurate financial and tax reporting

- Implementation of accounting system, internal control, processes and policies

- Owner of external audit process and ensure a timely and clean year end audit

- Manage cash flows and prepare monthly cash flow reports

- Support budgeting and forecasting activities

- Take care of ad-hoc projects such as increase in capital

Requirements:

- Vietnamese only

- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent

- Have experiences in accounting in Insurance company

- At least 3 years of experience as senior accountant or finance/accounting manager

- At least 3 years of hands on experience with Vietnam taxes

- Preferably experience from the insurance/fintech/ecommerce related industry

- Strong communication in written and oral English

- Hands on and excellent attention to details with a control centric mindset

- Strong sense of responsibility and able to work with tight timelines
