About the role 

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Placement Manager with a strong focus on insurance placement to join our dynamic team. As an Insurance Placement Manager you will be working with the Brokerage team and play a crucial role in to make Igloo become the future of insurance.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Perform duties as "Tenaga Pialang" as required under OJK's regulation;

  • Make sure that all documentation of closing of insurance are in line with company's policy that are created by Certified Expert Officer (Tenaga Ahli) and the regulators;

  • Communicate and liaise with the insurer and policyholder (potential partner) to finalize the insurance product based on the need of commercial team;

  • Develop a binder agreement with insurance partners;

  • Placing daily insurance acceptances as prospects come from the commercial team, with various changes up to bind/close and renewal process in the following year;

  • Processing claim management process (optional)


Job Requirements  

  • More than 8 years experience, preferably with proven placement experiences 
  • Insurance Qualification such as CIIB, APAI, AAIK
  • Insurance Certification 5 & 6
  • Familiar with OJK Regulation
  • Prior experience working in a high-growth environment, ideally with a mix of experience in MNCs and start ups
  • Critical thinking skills and growth mindset
  • A self-starter with hands-on experience
  • Negotiation Skill
  • Mature & good interpersonal Skill
