What You'll Be Doing:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot substation equipment like transformers, circuit breakers, and control systems

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on high-voltage systems to ensure reliability

  • Collaborate with engineers and field teams to monitor system performance and manage upgrades or repairs

  • Test and calibrate relays and protection devices to ensure safety across the grid

  • Work in all weather conditions, climbing structures, and handling live electrical equipment safely

  • Respond to system failures and outages, restoring power as quickly and efficiently as possible

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience working with substation equipment, high-voltage systems, or related electrical systems

  • Strong technical understanding of relay settings, circuit breakers, transformers, and control systems

  • Attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills in complex, high-stakes environments
