Accountant

As an Accountant at IIQAF, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our company's financial statements. You will work closely with the finance team and other departments to provide timely and accurate financial information. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness

- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards

- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations

- Maintain and update general ledger accounts and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions

- Prepare and submit tax returns and other compliance-related reports to regulatory authorities

- Liaise with external auditors and assist with the annual audit process

- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes and provide financial analysis to support decision-making

- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting

- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- CPA or equivalent certification preferred

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in a global organization

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards such as GAAP and IFRS

- Proficient in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks and Sage

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

- Familiarity with international tax regulations is a plus
