About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our software and systems. In this role, you will design, develop, and execute test plans, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. This is a fully remote position, open only to candidates located in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.

Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards.

Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues in coordination with the engineering team.

Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning.

Continuously improve testing strategies and automation frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

1+ year of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test automation.

Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.

Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash.

ISTQB certification or other relevant testing certifications.
