About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning activities for a state-of-the-art data centre project in Melbourne. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of electrical systems, including high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) installations, to meet the operational standards of a hyperscale data centre.​

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end electrical commissioning process, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate with construction teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align commissioning schedules and activities.
• Develop and review test procedures for electrical systems, including switchgear, UPS, generators, and PDUs.
• Manage third-party commissioning agents and ensure thorough documentation of all commissioning activities.
• Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed during the commissioning phases.​

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years experience in electrical commissioning, preferably within data centre environments.

• Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and regulations.

• Proven ability to lead commissioning teams and manage complex projects.

• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
