Data Analytics and Payment Reconciliation Intern

We are seeking a highly skilled Intern - Data Analytics & Payment Reconciliation to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will assist in analyzing and reconciling payment transactions and tax records, while developing reports and dashboards to support financial transparency and accuracy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify discrepancies, prepare detailed reports, and contribute to data-driven decision-making through powerful visualizations and insightful analysis.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile payment transactions and tax records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Review financial statements, tax filings, and transaction details to identify discrepancies and resolve reconciliation issues.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of payment accounts and tax records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee and verify that all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
• Prepare and present detailed reconciliation reports, including variance analysis and corrective actions.
• Create dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio or any other visualization tools.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management.

Shift: Shift: SL day time (9am - 6pm)

Location: Battaramulla (On-Site)

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate at a recognized university (preferably in Statistics or IT).
• Experience with reconciliation processes and financial analysis
• Good knowledge of Power BI/Tableau/Google Data Studio/MS-Excel for visualization.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills and presentation skills.
