Senior Software Engineer NextJs / ReactJs (US Day Time (SL Night Time))

Job Responsibilities

• Code in a full-stack area. React.js, Next.js, TypeScript / JavaScript.
• SPA architecture + GraphQL + Kotlin experience is a plus.
• Drive the design and implementation of solutions and product features, as well as support the live operation at scale of user-facing critical Web and Mobile flows.
• Test automation, monitoring, and alerting experience is desired.
• Participate in the prioritization process to bring hidden technical needs to the roadmap.
• Translate business requirements into technical ones with very strong communication skills.
• Lead the team to build scalable, easy-to-maintain software to support millions of users and transactions.

Shift: US Day Time (SL Night Time) (5pm - 2am)/ US Calendar

Location: Battaramulla (Hybrid Mode)

What Were Looking For

• TypeScript / JavaScript
• Next.js
• React.js
• Node.js
• AWS S3, EC2, K8s containers, CloudFront
• Experience working in subscription and/or E-commerce companies
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
• Passion for mentoring and coaching the members of your team

Bonus if you have:

• GraphQL development experience
• Kotlin
• Terraform
• Kubernetes / Docker

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar capacity with a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Must work on US time and according to US Calendar
• Worked diligently coding in Java/Kotlin and Javascript
• A creative and precise problem solver
• Digital product/UX understanding
• AWS Experience
• Strong Knowledge of Spring or other similar Interversion of control frameworks
• Passionately worked on and driven large scale projects to completion
• Experience working in subscription and/or e-commerce companies
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience working with Kong API Gateway configuration and LUA scripts
• Experience working with CICD/Jenkins pipeline configuration
• Experience working with Kubernetes
