Job Role:

Talent Acquisition Specialist at iLabs will be responsible for all hiring activities, from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing hires. You will use your recruitment skills, experience and creativity to get an upper hand in the red hot IT job market in Sri Lanka and South East Asia (India, Bangladesh, Vietnam) as we are looking to hire hundreds of engineers and tech resources urgently. You will lead the recruitment process from connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications, interviewing candidates, negotiating salary packages, presenting suitable candidates to our global clients and supporting hiring managers in the organization. Ultimately, you will be responsible for hiring qualified top tech talent while maintaining a positive candidate experience. Responsibilities:

  • Create and publish job ads in various portals
  • Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events
  • Sourcing suitable candidates and briefing them on the opportunities available
  • Assessing and responding to the needs of each our global tech partners and presenting them with qualified candidates in a timely manner
  • Screen resumes and job applications
  • Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
  • Interview candidates for a wide range of roles (junior, senior and executive)
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings
  • Managing the process through the interview to offer stage and beyond

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Qualification in computer science or IT related field is an added advantage
  • 4+ years experience in a similar capacity in the software industry.
  • Relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage.
  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Excellent English (written and oral) is a must.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Github and Stack Overflow.
  • Familiarity with application tracking systems (Specially Manatal)
  • Data analysis and visualization for management report
