Role Overview
We’re looking for a Content Specialist who is passionate about content, storytelling, obsessed with quality, and data-savvy. This person will play a critical role in creating, auditing, and optimizing content across the Cloud of Goods website and marketing channels. You’ll collaborate closely with our UI/UX and Data teams to ensure content is informed by user behavior, analytics, and SEO insights helping us grow brand awareness, improve engagement, and drive conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Content Management
Create, edit, and maintain high-quality content across product pages, city pages, category pages, and more.
Audit and update outdated or underperforming content based on analytics, SEO, and UX recommendations.
Ensure all website copy is clear, consistent, and aligned with brand voice and user intent.
- Blog & Editorial
Write engaging blog posts on topics such as travel tips, rental hacks, city guides, and customer stories.
Contribute to seasonal or event-based content calendars (e.g., holidays, festivals, new product launches).
Collaborate with the SEO team to optimize blog content for organic traffic growth.
- Cross-Channel Marketing Content
Develop on-brand copy for marketing campaigns, email newsletters, landing pages, and social assets.
Support content needs across branding, PR, influencer partnerships, and more as needed.
- Collaboration & Strategy
Work closely with UI/UX designers and product teams to improve content layout, structure, and relevance.
Use platform data, session recordings, and behavior analytics to identify content improvement opportunities.
Implement SEO best practices in collaboration with our SEO agency and in-house data team.
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in content creation, web copywriting, or digital marketing.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio of past work.
Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar) optional.
Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Search Console).
Comfortable working cross-functionally with design, data, and product teams.
Ability to manage multiple content projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
Work Model
Hybrid work model with 3 in-office days per week.
