Job Responsibilities

  • Provide quality assurance support to our weekly releases

  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to come up with test plans, test cases, and testing requirements and estimate the testing effort

  • Implement automated testing using open source tools

  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs

  • Perform thorough testing on resolved bugs

  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs

  • Communicate and coordinate with internal teams (e.g. developers, devops engineers, UI/UX designers, top management) on releases

  • Having previous experience or familiarity with QA Automation is a plus.


Shift: Hybrid US Time ( 5.00pm - 2.00am)
Location: Battaramulla (On-Site)


Job Requirements

  • At least 0.6 - 2 years work experience in software quality assurance is a must

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes

  • Experience in writing test plans and test cases

  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing

  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools

  • Experience working in an Agile development process

  • Attention to detail is a must

  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus

  • BSc degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a special diploma in Software Quality Assurance is required.
