Job Responsibilities
Provide quality assurance support to our weekly releases
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to come up with test plans, test cases, and testing requirements and estimate the testing effort
Implement automated testing using open source tools
Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs
Perform thorough testing on resolved bugs
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Communicate and coordinate with internal teams (e.g. developers, devops engineers, UI/UX designers, top management) on releases
Having previous experience or familiarity with QA Automation is a plus.
Shift: Hybrid US Time ( 5.00pm - 2.00am)
Location: Battaramulla (On-Site)
Job Requirements
At least 0.6 - 2 years work experience in software quality assurance is a must
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
Experience working in an Agile development process
Attention to detail is a must
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
BSc degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a special diploma in Software Quality Assurance is required.
