Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing design concepts for industrial automation equipment based on functional requirements and user needs.

  • Support in creating 2D/3D CAD models, renderings, and prototypes for testing, validation, and presentation.

  • Collaborate with engineers on circuit design, PCB layout, embedded systems integration, and mechanical design.

  • Help optimize designs for functionality, manufacturability, reliability, and cost efficiency.

  • Contribute to design documentation, schematic capture, and component selection.

  • Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and refining prototypes to ensure high-quality and practical outcomes.

  • Research materials, manufacturing methods, and industrial design trends relevant to automation equipment.

  • Explore and apply emerging design tools, rapid prototyping methods, and 3D printing techniques.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the preparation of visuals, renderings, and product presentations.

Shift: SL day time (9am - 6pm)
Location: Battaramulla (On-Site)

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or a related field.

  • Basic knowledge or hands-on experience in electronics design, CAD modeling, or embedded systems.

  • Familiarity with PCB design, sensors, actuators, or electronic prototyping tools is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of mechanical design, electronics integration, or product development workflows is a plus.

  • Enthusiasm for learning, curiosity about industrial design and electronics, and willingness to work on real-world projects
