Leading Client in the Technology Industry requires a Senior Support Engineer to provide Virtualisation infrastructure support

Responsibilities

• Providing 3rd Line Support
• VMware support
• Analysis of system health with in-depth reporting
• Preventative maintenance
• Architect new solutions
• Assist with escalations from 2nd line Support Engineers

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12
• Certification: VMWare Certified Technical Associate (VCTA-DCV 2024)
• Min 10 years experience supporting data centre software
• Technologies : Virtualisation: VMware vSphere, MS Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, Linux KVM
• o SRM with: Storage replication, vVols, vRep
• o vRealize Operations
• o Veeam backup and replication
• Must have a valid drivers and own reliable transport
